Guaruja is a beautiful city about 100km from Sao Paulo, and a ferry ride from Santos. The city gets very crowed in the summer, but even the warm winters are great there. You can see exactly which nights they have available beds and the room types available from some of our resources here. The population in 2006 was 305.171, the population density is 1,969.47/km and the area is 143 km. The name comes from the Tupi language. Amongst the most popular spots are the beaches of Enseada and Casado. On the open sea and not good for bathing, the Tombo beach is excellent for surfers, in contrast with tranquility of Guaiaba, Prainha Branca and Iporanga where the fertile vegetation is enhanced by a waterfall and a freshwater swimming pool.

The beach was very nice and not too crowded like some of the other beaches. The front desk, while trying to be helpful, did not speak . With many years of experience in the swimwear industry, Beach Brasil produces very high quality swimwear. All the components of manufacturing are done on site. Well, it is a great beach for surfing, with many lodgings and campings. There is a bar called Larikas that is super agitated by night, during the holidays and a police station at the side.

Its beach has 2km of extension, with a wide strip of sand. It has as characteristics, a little darker sand and the presence of fishing embarkations close to the border. But be aware of the Brazilian beach culture: unlike many foreigners might think, there is no topless in the beaches, but girls can wear tiny string bikinis (fio dental), but it doesn’t mean they’re exhibitionists. For most of them, it’s highly offensive to stare. The hotel was wonderfully located, only 30 feet from the beach. The beach was very nice and not too crowded like some of the other beaches.
