With great vacation weather year-round, Aruba is the perfect island destination for romantic honeymoons or great family fun. A newly-renovated resort has 417 rooms in a contemporary high-rise building set amid the landscaped grounds. Private balcony with Aruba island countryside view. Well, Aruba, is only 20 miles long and 6 miles wide, making it the smallest of the Dutch Caribbean, or “ABC” Islands (Aruba, Bonaire, and Curacao). Aruba became a separate country within the Kingdom of the Netherlands in 1986, yet the island retains much of its early Dutch character. With some of the most stunning resorts in the Caribbean, you need to visit this island at least once. Back in the ’80’s there were a few casinos and hotels. The cruise ships didn’t come often. But times have changed -- and tiny Aruba has taken a toll. For example, one Aruba resort is conveniently situated in a pure oceanfront environment right by the sugary sands of Palm Beach. The wide selection of activities and amenities make this Aruba Beach Resort the ultimate haven. Listings for accommodations & resorts to adventure travel & local attractions in Aruba are available all over the Three Best Beaches site. Start your Aruba vacation planning today or get ideas for great vacations In Aruba!

Renting cars/jeeps is easy, and many rental companies provide pickup service from area hotels. The 18-hole championship golf course is the only one on the island and includes a full-length practice range putting greens chipping areas pro shop restaurant pool and clubhouse. Here, villas feature spacious living/dining rooms cable TVs, fully equipped kitchens with microwaves and dish washers, furnished patios and private pools with golf or island views, washers, dryers, irons ironing boards and daily maid service. And we found that for any reservations made with a golf package an additional 28 per person per round of golf played applies. Shaded picnic areas are open to the public, so lots of people like to pack a basket and park here for the day. During the weekend, locals often do the same.

Tierra Del Sol Golf Course in Aruba

Marriott’s site has all the restaurants, entertainment, beaches, and other amenities just a short walk away. Lots of prime restaurants and the cinema in the brand new shopping mall “Paseo Herencia.” And the Divi Phoenix was good. The restaurant at the hotel was supurb both for breakfast, lunch and especially dinner. I would definitely return to the Divi Phoenix on my next visit to Aruba.

The Divi Phoenix in Aruba

Of course those quiet beaches may not offer the spoiled tourists what they have become so accustomed to: restrooms, bars, restaurants, etc. But hey, there are choices to make. Positioned beachside, the restaurants serve American fare and is open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Internet access is available for a fee in the lobbies and the multilingual staff provides concierge, dry cleaning and business services.

Palm Beach, Aruba

The capital city of Oranjestad is approximately 4 miles from the resort. The airport is approximately 7 miles from the resort. An All-Inclusive luxury resort with unrivaled ambience and style. Experience white sand beaches, cool ocean breezes and beautifully appointed rooms and suites on the most spectacular beach of Aruba. Experience the all-new Hyatt Regency Aruba Resort & Casino, where luxurious pampering and exquisite touches enhance every moment of your visit. Breathe in fresh tropical breezes bringing the captivating scents of our island retreat into each corner of our impeccably renewed Aruba hotel and resort.

The Area offers endless shopping and is host of Aruba’s best known Bars and Restaurants, Cinema and any beach and water activity you can imagine. The relaxed elegance, comfort and privacy you enjoy when you stay in a private villa make this type of Aruba vacation a different and unforgettable one. The Brickell Bay Beach Club is a unique experience located at Palm Beach Resorts and an area filled with a wide variety of restaurants and shops. It is a great value with many amenities of a full service resort.

Bright tropical fish swim through the clear blue water, so snorkelers will find plenty to observe. If you get tired of sitting on the beach, wander up to the hotels – most of them have ocean-side gardens and their own watertsports centers that are open to the public. Expect snorkeling gear to rent for US $15 per day, and snorkeling trips to cost US $25-35. Crowded with snorkelers at the passes where the best views are. Also strong current and surf in the passes when we were there in December. Visit and tour the Aloe factory or view the beautiful landscape or go golfing, enjoy the island sun tanning, sunbathing or scuba diving & snorkeling in the warm ocean waters. Also see the best of many restaurants and places to eat, recommend use the tourist tips while vacationing check your travel guide.

It’s a sightseeing experience you’ll never forget: you’ll see the California Lighthouse, the Baby Natural Bridge and other key sights, including ultra popular Baby Beach, where you can go snorkeling or swimming. Our friendly and daring guides, experts in Aruba’s past and present, will give a detailed account of what you’re seeing along the way. The snorkeling at this location is great for kids or travelers new to snorkeling. However, for more experienced snorkelers, it is recommended to try Malmonk or Arashi Beach.

Always remember to take your underwater camera and sunscreen!!! There are many disposables that work underwater – bring them from home as they are cheaper than buying them on the island. Keep them out of the hot sun.

There are no facilities of any kind nearby and the surf is extremly rough and dangerous for swimming. Topless sunbathing and swimming is not against the law, and tolerated on most beaches in the resort areas, but not on resort grounds!!! The 200 foot opening that forms the natural bridge was carved out of solid rock by the surf and wind. While interesting, I wouldn’t recommend it unless you are tired of shopping, beaches and want to see something unique. Hi there Lisa, on the photograph underneath Surfside Beach, you see that there isn’t any kind of facility whatsoever. However, just a bit farther ahead there is Havana Beach Bar where there are some beach facilities and bar.

Furthermore, several Caribbean beaches have change and shower facilities, shade huts and water sport equipment provided by Aruba resorts and hotels. For travelers in search of more privacy, a number of public beaches offer dazzling blue water and immaculate sand without the crowds. What’s more, many of the island’s finest resorts and hotels overlook the popular beach, granting a short walk to paradise for many travelers. Additionally, many resorts offer watersports equipment, shade huts and lounge chairs for their guests. Breathe in fresh tropical breezes bringing the captivating scents of our island retreat into each corner of our impeccably renewed Aruba hotel and resort. Delight in the beauty of our new design, from intimate gathering spaces to elegantly modern guestrooms.
