The beach is lined with great restaurants, hotels and a nearby grocery store and town. Some hotels and restaurants are quite upscale. The best beaches are on the south side of the island and sheltered from the prevailing wind. Platis Yialos is a sand beach for everybody while Paradise and Super Paradise are the nudist ones. Outside of town, the island’s beaches offer excellent windsurfing and other watersports. Villas on Mykonos can be hard to find (apartments are more typically available), and we are pleased to be able to offer many attractive villas.
All the rave reviews we saw online hit the mark; this hotel was beautiful and delightful in every way. The infinity pool was certainly an exciting surprise – it was a great spot to watch the sunset and peek down over the edge to see a view of Mykonos Town. A lack of large hotels and a non existent bus service has made Super Paradise beach a tad more exclusive than its brasher neighbour Paradise beach. It may be super to some, but don’t expect a quiet time here.
It’s not on all the maps of Mykonos, but it can be reached after taking a turn in the village of Ano Mera. Fokos Beach is one of the nicest beaches on Mykonos island, a big sand beach, with a place for nudists as well.
