Ka'anapali Beach and Hotels

Kaanapali Beach is perfect for long romantic walks, swimming, kayaking, snorkeling, sailing and scuba diving. The exceptional swimming pool reflects graceful palm trees which frame the garden. Kaanapali is my favorite place on earth. Serene and beautiful but with lots of things to do. Kaanapali resort hosts a slate of fun, free activities for children all afternoon in the Center Courtyard of Whalers Village where a magician, juggler, and face-painters are on-hand. Families can enjoy beach front and poolside barbecues and restaurant specials with live music at select hotels.

Maui's got everything, but not all in the same place! Maui is VERY beautiful indeed, though it's beauty is somehow a bit more subtle than the other islands I've been to. Photos of the famous “Road to Hana” for example look nice but don't really impress me. Maui has the resort towns in the west and south, separated by Haleakala and an stunning drive past numerous smaller towns to Hana in the east. Oahu offers the city activities of Honolulu, including more museums and nightlife than you're going to find anywhere else on the islands, plus the Pearl Harbor Memorial of the USS Arizona.

Kaanapali Beach is a true resort playground and was once the resort home of Hawaiian royalty. Come and see why! Kaanapali Beach is our favorite beach, and here you can either walk for miles on the sand, or take a leisurely stroll along a pathway through the many resorts and hotels that are strung along the beach. If you end up at Whaler's Village you may catch an outdoor concert of local performers, eat in one of the great beach front restaurants, browse through a myriad of shops and boutiques or take in the informative Whaler's Museum, offering free admission. Kaanapali Beach is approximately three miles long, and is divided by a lava cliff, known commonly as "Black Rock" and by the Hawaiians as Puu Kekaa. Each evening at sunset, there is ceremonial torch lighting and cliff diving at Black Rock, as sunny days give way to starry nights, this tradition enthralls our visitors and has become a resort signature.

Kaanapali Beach is four miles long, and runs alongside the sea channel for almost its whole length. The sand is a golden color and has a paved beach walk path. Kaanapali Beach is located approximately 4 miles northwest of Lahaina, the ancient Hawaiian capital and whaling port between the blue Pacific and majestic mountain slopes. Also nearby the Maui vacation rentals is biking, fishing, boating, sailing, waterskiing, the Whaling Museum, Sugar Cane Train, submarine ride, and the championship golfing courses at Kaanapali and Kapalua. Kaanapali Beach is, like so many places in Hawaii, excellent for surfing , snorkeling and any other water sport you can think of. The pool area is a sparkling collection of water slides, waterfalls, grottoes and pools separated by tropical gardens.
