Nika Island Maldives

by Dave Jackson

The islands in Maldives are small and low-lying with neither rivers nor mountains. Every atoll is formed by a coral reef , and a reef and a shallow lagoon encircles each island . Only 74 km away from the airport, Nika Island Resort eagerly beckons sun worshippers to grace this resort and succumb to temptation at its best. To make your stay more worthwhile, excursions are also arranged, enabling you to bask in the warmth of the Maldives environment. The house reef and lagoon of the island is beautiful to snorkelling and swim in. It is also safe due to the lack of current.

It is an excellent trip for a couple as it ensures full privacy on a little island in the Indian ocean, similar to a Robinson Crusoe setting. Also it is an ideal setting for an aperitif at sunset. We offer comprehensive selection of resort islands, liveaboards and many tourism related trade in Maldives. Our prime interest is to help the overseas tour operators and build a repport in defining the bests in Maldives. One can walk around the island in 10 minutes, ample space is left between bungalows to give as much privacy as possible. It is the paradise where one can experience Maldivian hospitality with Italian style.

As you know, the Maldives is a group of islands located on the equator in the Indian Ocean south of the Indian subcontinent. It is the perfect recluse for those who want to get away from the annoying humdrum of every day life.

In the resorts, the staff is usually multilingual and can speak languages like French, German, Italian and Japanese. Geography The atolls of the Maldives are formed from coral structures. Apart from the seclusion and the beauty of the island (including beautiful coral reefs 15 metres from the beach) we loved the fact that it was predominantly an Italian resort and not over run with Brits. It epitomises romance and understanded luxury. When we speak of the Resort Hotel, it is of course one resort hotel on one island. There’s no place else like an island in the Maldives for the holiday of a lifetime.
