Well, to stop any sort of leading you on, there are no clothing optional beaches deemed so by the government on the island of St. Thomas. Public nudity is outlawed there. But the locals will tell you there is one unofficial nude beaches in St. Thomas. It’s called Little Magens Bay Beach and few know of it. Visit our main site for a full review. We also went to Coki Beach in St. Thomas. It was only about a 20 minute taxi ride and our 2 kids loved the beach (they were 9 & 11). Coki Beach is located right next to Marine Park; its easy to make a day of visiting both places. Marine Park & Underwater Observatory at Coki Beach offers 360 degree views of fish and and the chance to go underwater without getting wet! Located 20 minutes’ taxi-ride from the port, is ideal for a half-day trip.

Set seaside and edged by its own rock and coral beach on turquoise Great Bay, with views of the Ritz Carlton, Water Point and St. John, this pristine and beautifully landscape private estate offers three air-conditioned bedrooms on the light and airy upper level, plus two more complete air-conditioned one bedroom apartment suites poolside below on the ground level. The first family spent four days sunning and swimming, dining at the super-posh Ritz Carlton St. Thomas to the Clintons, the press reported that “the President indicated that Chelsea was very influential in the family returning to St. Thomas. The path between the two Ritz properties is short, cemented and follows the coastline.

In addition to its own white-sandy beach (what else do you really need?), this resort has amenities to please everyone, including tennis, a fitness club, swimming, sailing and snorkeling. Take a dip in the pool, or just relax with a good book under the . Follow the signs on the naming and other sea life as you swim with iridescent fish and wave at . John’s has some three dozen beaches, but limit yourself to North Shore Road and you’ll find what many argue are the most beautiful in the world (Trunk, Hawksnest, Maho, Cinnamon, and others): pristine nature, soft white sand, nice surf, and unbelievably beautiful views of the Caribbean. On the east side of the island is Isaac Bay Beach ideal for snorkeling, swimming and sunbathing.

The water is clean and safe for swimming, and there’s also a good selection of watersports equipment for rent. Plus, the hotel has the swim-up bar, and puts out tons of chaise lounges and thatched-roof umbrellas, so who’s to complain? The ocean is mild much of the time and, except during special island events - which the hotel frequently hosts, much to its credit among locals - there’s never too much of a crowd. After swimming in the crystal clear sea water you take a dip in the river and wash off the salt.
