Signs clearly mark the known turtle nests and it is a major crime with huge fines to disturb the nests of these endangered sea creatures. We did not go this year, thought we would go somewhere closer to home, but are going back next year because we have missed it so much. In addition to being in a wonderful area, this hotel in Cocoa Beach offers great amenities and service. Fawlty Towers has 32 rooms with balconies providing views of the ocean or the pool and en suite bathrooms.
We exchanged a timeshare week through RCI and were so pleased by the resort and surrounding area we exchanged another timeshare week to return at the same time next year. We’ve never done that for any other timeshare resort and we’ve stayed at several excellent ones and a few other nice ones. Extensive lists of restaurants, hotels, events and activities make getting aquainted with the area easy. Plus, a monthly video segment spotlights the major events happening that month. A homey feel greets guests to this inn, with its bless-our-home reception area. Oriental rugs and French country furniture are interspersed throughout.
Most rooms have ocean views, but for true drama get a room on the east end, facing the water. The hotel’s best feature is its location, right on the beach.
