November is generally humid where beaches abound. Kai Bae Beach is a great destination spot for doing a little snorkeling or enjoying a little time out on the ocean in a kayak. The Indian Ocean massages this coast of granite headlands and uncrowded beaches that surfers and European sun-seekers discovered long ago. There is a choice of three, four and five-star resorts from which you can simultaneously contemplate Bentota’s fiery sunset and your of sundowner. That’s because in 1998, when the sea-warming, coral-bleaching phenomenon known as El Nino swept the oceans, devastating coral formations such as the Great Barrier Reef, the Andaman Sea was largely spared. Only Isla Verde beach to the east matches Ocean Park for its broad beach and good swimming. The people-watching here is nothing compared to the well-stuffed bikinis (both male and female) found on South Miami Beach or Rio de Janeiro. In Barranco it is relatively easy to find a place to sip a coffee or a beer while enjoying a fine view over the ocean.
San Clemente is a unique beach town built on hillsides overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Twenty acres of sand beaches and a 1,200-foot long fishing pier with commanding views of coastal bluff and hills is what makes this a popular beach town for locals and tourists alike. This hotel offers a fantastic location overlooking the Pacific Ocean and the sound of the crashing surf to lull you to sleep. Tastefully decorated, the hotel features a restaurant with incredible views of the ocean. There is plenty of lush greenery and the ocean is a beautiful greenish hue in the bay that merges into a dark blue out in the open ocean.
Natadola offers natural beauty, as well as activities ranging from snorkeling to horseback riding. If you like mild and dry weather, then check out the beach between May and October, while warm and humid-weather seekers should visit from November to April. The beach itself is busy in high season and idyllic in low season and features an attractive and shaded beach road. Compared with other resort destinations in Mexico, Cancun offers most luxury hotels, restaurants, nightlife and activities. The white-sand beaches in Cancun and along the Yacatan’s Quintana Roo coast, extending south almost all the way to the Belizean border are the country’s best in terms of pure beauty.
The waters are pristine and diamond-clear, and waves rarely rise above a gentle ripple — perfect for young kids and snorkelers of all ages. Snorkelers will experience an array of tropical fish marine life, including fish and sea turtles, just a foot under the surface of the water. For a bite to eat, the Suga Suga Bar and Restaurant on Mullins Beach serves good food and drinks to hungry beachcombers. It wasn’t the best day for snorkeling. It was as hot as it gets and some really stinky algae was in the water and piling up on the beach.
