The tip of the island, known as Cap Corse, has two stunning beaches Saleccia Beach and Plage de Tamarone, but access is difficult and only for the determined. Boat trips will take you part of the way but then you’ll have to walk the rest! One of the most notable beaches of the Cap Corse, a little way from the town of the same name. It is very popular among locals and known for being a particularly safe beach and swim zone for kids and toddlers. You are in the campaign(country) and has nearness of the sea (6km beaches). Every day you can unless the 1 hour of car discover different magnificent and wild places.
It would be an advantages if there it nice lonley beach near by the end of the trip. We love bathing nude. The scenery is beautiful, the beaches clean and uncrowded and the Corsicans are friendly. The standard of food was high but uninfluenced by modern trends. June was hot, very hot, superb for a beach holiday but without the crowds. We stayed near to Cargese, actually within 2 miles of the town which was walking distance, despite the heat.

From the far left of the beach (when facing the sea) a path follows the coast to the Plage de Saleccia. This walk is not signposted but the path is fairly easy to follow. Indigenous herbs such as thyme, basil, fennel, and rosemary and the scented brush called maquis give Corsican cuisine its distinctive flavor. Corsican specialties are charcuterie (cooked and processed pork, often fed with chestnuts), chestnut fritters (fritelli a gaju frescu) and chestnut cake (pulenta).
