Off property, there are plenty of opportunities for golf in Barbados. The closest golf courses are at Sandy Lane, just to the north near Holetown, where there are two courses available to visitors, but guests of Crystal Cove have preferential tee times at the Royal Westmoreland course to the north of Holetown.
Friends of ours just got married in Barbados and stayed at Crystal Cove for a week with 35 guests(family and friends). Take a tour through subterranean caves or go snorkeling, sailing or boogie boarding. Built on a cliff and tucked away among exotic tropical gardens that overlook the glorious golden sands of the Barbados west coast, this charming resort blends relaxation and activity with a friendly village atmosphere and warm hospitality.
The focal point of the resort is its three-tiered, free form lagoon pools which are carved into a rock face hidden by waterfalls. There is a comfortable built-in sofa and tucked in the corner another dining area with wet bar. A doorway leads out to a glorious sea view terrace which has been built onto the low cliff. Styled like a natural mountain pool with waterfalls and gardens, the swimming pool terraces down to the beach in three rock-lined levels. Aquatic adventures include boat cruises and snorkeling excursions to a sunken barge. Stroll in from the pool terrace or swim in from the lagoon for a refreshing drink. After a morning spent relaxing or enjoying tennis or the free watersports, the Drifters Beach Bar is the ideal spot for a casual straight-off-the-beach lunch. All rooms have air conditioning, ceiling fans, and a balcony or terrace with pool, garden, or ocean views. Rooms are decorated in soft shades of pink, blue, and green, and light-colored woods.
The three-tiered pool with waterfall and cave bar is the main focus of the resort and an ideal place to relax, although other leisure facilities include a range of water sports, tennis courts and a fully equipped fitness centre. The extensive children?s club is available for children aged 3 to 11 and offers a full program of organised activities. Enjoy regular live entertainment such as local bands and music in the hotel’s bars, including a weekly barbeque on the beach. At the heart of the property, three tiered, free-form lagoon pools unite at the Cave Bar, carved into the rock behind a cascading waterfall. Crystal Cove has two restaurants offering a wonderful blend of International and Caribbean cuisine.The elegant Reflections restaurant offers breathtaking ocean views and remains a popular location for guests.
