Anse Intendance, on the south coast, has been lauded as the most beautiful beach in the Indian Ocean, and a single glance at its half mile of powdery white sand strongly reinforces this claim. There is no reef, so the waves make it suitable for surfing. Chalets d’ Anse Forbans is a beautiful place full of nature with a quite and wonderful beach. The owners of the Chalets are amazing and helful persons all the time in anything you need. There are many chartered companies that can take you back and forth between the islands. Its blue waters also make it a great spot for water activities and sports.
Mahe, with an area of 150 sq.km., is the largest island of the Seychelles. Morne Seychellois, with a peak rising to 905 metres, also makes it the highest. The small library houses indoor games; books; magazines and detailed maps of all the Islands of the archipelago of Seychelles. The Restaurant and bar located within close proximity of the swimming pool offer.
The proximity of Madagascar and Reunion (then Bourbon) Island fostered the use of the leafy greens called “brides,” vanilla and ginger, which along with garlic, became staples of Seychelles cuisine.

However, the heat is usually mitigated by refreshing sea breezes, especially by the beaches. The cooler season in Seychelles is during the southeast monsoon season (late May to September) and the warmer season is during northwest monsoon (March to May). The beach is not clean enough, but this out of the management’s responsability. The hotel is small, clean, nice location, but walking to the town for food is dangerous as no light’s on the road. The Fairyland snorkeling beach is just a 2 minute walk away while the longest beach of Mahe; the Anse Royale beach; is just a 5 minute walk away.
