The beaches are open nearly all the time and make San Diego Beaches the #1 choice for guests. Dream San Diego beach weddings, seaside, backyard, garden, or resort. Simple or elegant Janis performs weddings at your location through out the greater San Diego area. The sunny San Diego weather and laid-back attitude truly make staying in a San Diego beach hotel or rental a stay in paradise. Stay only steps away from the sand and fall asleep to the sounds of the Pacific Ocean.
There are several hubs of activity, specifically the point where Pacific Beach Drive dead ends into the boardwalk. Here you’ll find a few funky cafes and a few great restaurants where you can watch the sun slip below the horizon while enjoying a fine meal. Lahaina Beach House, located on the Boardwalk at Reed Street, and Open Bar (on Mission Blvd.) are popular on sunny days and normally have a line waiting to get in by 2PM. The beach front and the oceanfront boardwalk offer a livelier atmosphere while the bay front units offer a more tranquil environment.
From San Diego in the southern tip of California, up through Los Angeles and Santa Barbara and then through Monterey and San Francisco, you will see exciting live images of beaches, boardwalks, bays and even marine life. These images will most likely either remind you of a fond memory or make you want to trip out to see some of these exciting destinations. Breakfast at Kono’s at the foot of Garnet on the boardwalk (just north of the pier entrance) is a must for anyone who wants a true Pacific Beach experience. Walk the 872 foot long Crystal Pier located just four blocks from the motel, or run, bike, or roller blade, along the Pacific Beach/Mission Beach boardwalk. The boardwalk extends 3 miles and has restaurants, nightclubs and shops located within the three mile area.

There’s nothing like the sound of the ocean to lull you to sleep, and there’s no better way to escape to Paradise on earth than a retreat to the Pacific Terrace Hotel. Our beachside lodgings offer an affordable vacation experience coupled with a retro-chic, boutique hotel sensibility. You’ll find dozens of attractions, including SeaWorld and the San Diego Zoo, just minutes away. Walk from nearby hotels and play golf in the afternoons.
There are more than a dozen public parks, several golf courses, and of course white sandy beaches. Visitors to San Diego have a chance to watch migrating whales, surf in crystal clear water, and explore the old lighthouse of Old Point Loma. Soak up the sunshine on the warm, sandy beaches, or swim, surf or fish at the beach just beyond your doors. Romantic sunsets can be enjoyed from your balcony or the fourth-floor Jacuzzi spa. Over the past century, the development of the region’s coastal plain has drastically reduced the supply of sand our beaches receive.
