Fisher Island is a 216-acre world-class private island residential community. It is a very exclusive and wealthy community that in 2000 had the highest per capita income of any place in the United States. Fisher Island is a well-known tourist destination just off the shore of Miami, Florida. The area hosts an abundance of recreational and entertainment facilities, as well as luxurious residential properties with easy access to the white sandy beaches for a memorable vacation or living experience. It is actually one of the most upscale communities in South Florida.
Of course the crown jewel of Fisher Island is its enormous country club with more than two hundred acres of activities and facilities. There is the award-winning spa, full marina with enough slips for over one hundred yachts and a nine hole golf course. Much has been written about Fisher Island, but perhaps nothing more telling than this tribute from Vogue magazine: Fisher Island is centered on the former mansion of William K. Vanderbilt, a 1920’s confection used for wintering by the great grandson of the Commodore.

Florida keystone, a coral-like stone indigenous to Florida, is used to accent the early work around the pools, and for columns, railing caps and ornate door sounds.
