St Tropez Beaches

This is mainly a public beach though there is a small area you can rent sunbeds. I’d recommend going early to get a parking space. Nude sunbathing, champagne and the fight for a spot in the sun always make for interesting and sometimes outrageous situations, even after the sun goes down and the music crescendos. Tropez’s reputation was secured as the place to sunbathe, swim, mingle and while away the summer. Tropez’s hottest spots during the summer season.

The majority of tourists arrive at Marseille International Airport due to the convenience and frequency of flights to destinations all over the UK, Europe and beyond. Being only 70 kms from Saint Tropez in addition to the convenient selection of flights makes Marseille Provence International the preferred gateway to St Tropez for most tourists arriving by air. You can rent a bike for the day at Holiday Bikes (14, avenue du G.Leclerc) for approximatly 26 Euros($33) or a moped for12 Euros ($15.25).

There is decent arts and crafts shopping in the area. And hang onto your credit cards, because the shopping here is out-of-this-world! You can find a little bit of everything from the very inexpensive to the very, very expensive and luxurious. Tropez has chic cafes, shops and restaurants. Nearby Cannes is, of course, famed for its annual film festival, but with its location on the French Riviera it has much more to offer than that!

There are some top class boutiques, shops and restaurants to browse and enjoy, and a large number of atmospheric cafes from which to watch the world go by. Cannes also attracts a posh crowd with its exclusive beaches, shopping boutiques, and sparkling climate. Of course, a review of France tourist attractions wouldn’t be complete without mentioning Paris. Lots to see, shopping is somewhat on the expensive side, and if you come in May be prepared to mix the stars and film producers, as well as garish sports cars, and yachts! Then go to Nice for more substance, as its been lived in for 400,000 years.

Cork, wine trade, of wood, the installation of important fish shops, a factory of stoppers of lioges, the factory of the underwater cables in Canebiers (the TSF puts an end to it), a school of hydrography (transferred). Old Saint-Tropez dies and it is recovered by the personalities and the ?New Wave?. You can do your shopping in Grimaud (4 km) or Cogolin. If shopping for luxury items is your thing, all the major French and Italian designers have boutiques in St Tropez. At night the town comes alive with numerous nightclubs and bars that stay open until dawn.

The town bulges with wealthy and famous visitors during summer months, with any number of bars, restaurants, fashion boutiques catering for all tastes. Outside of the peak months, the town can be enjoyed for its charming streets, great boutique shopping, lovely old port and pastel coloured houses. The Byblos Hotel (Avenue Paul Signac, 04/9456-6800) has a great seafood-heavy restaurant that complements its quaint, provincial surroundings. Tropez’s finest bouillabaisse.
