While it does not approach the population and building density of the lower Florida east coast island cities, building continues at a rapid pace. Unlike some areas of the east coast however, planners have set aside some land for public use and “beach access” areas seem to be every block or two. You guys ask me every few days to post more pictures of South Beach Miami, so here you go. This is right along the main section of the beach and when you visit you will see these very same lifeguard stations and wonderful art deco buildings.
Offering all of the amenities & services of much more expensive condo buildings, situated in PRIME South Beach location with close proximity major restaurants, gourmet markets, and the new Fifth & Alton shopping center. This unique beach also allows owners flexible tanning options. Two wooden piers were build in 1901, one at Center Street and one at Marine Avenue. The Center Street pier supported a wave motor to generate power for the Strand lighting system.
