Many of South Beach’s most popular hotels stand elbow to elbow along the oceanfront Collins Avenue. Just down the street, the fabulous National Hotel features its own film crew and hosts star-studded events, like fashion shoots by Vogue Magazine. We stayed at a wonderfull hotel on Washington called the Clinton and had a great time. We recommend South Beach to anyone wanting a warm fun beach environment. The Bentley Hotel welcomes you in the European tradition with personalized service to make your stay a most memorable one.
South Beach is a fun place to take out-of-town guests, after all, what is a trip to Miami without going to South Beach? But if you’re looking for a more family friendly or quiet spot to soak up the sun, go about 90 blocks north into Bal Harbour to Haulover Beach. Although South Beach is a favorite with the younger Latinos for drinking and dancing, the shopping is on the “mainland” of the City of Miami proper. A stroll along this mile long shopping strip will remind you of Caribbean towns. Over all South Beach is what you make out of it! Collins Ave is really close to all activities.
Architecturally and historically, South beach is a jewel as it houses one of the most important collections of art deco architecture in North America. This is further evidenced by the recent restoration of many of the buildings on the main strip back to their former glory. Nightlife in South Beach is dynamic and ever-changing, although some watering holes like The Clevelander and Mac’s Club Deuce have remained steadfast tourist destinations on Ocean Drive for well over a decade. Clubs constantly change decor, name, and owner, so it is difficult to state at any given time which clubs are popular. The Carlton Hotel South Beach is the only hotel in South Beach to offer guests use of an Olympic sized pool, which is surrounded by lush tropical landscaping and a sundeck with lounges. The Carlton’s cozy lobby features a 24-hour front desk and concierge services, deluxe Continental breakfast buffet, free coffee and tea daily, free beach towels, and an ATM.
Properties also have ample outdoor space for visitors to enjoy Miami’s enviable sunny climate. You will be able to spend wonderful afternoons or evenings while enjoying delicious meals. The result is an ultra-cool, intimate hotel on South Beach and sexy place to stay when visiting one of the world’s most popular destinations. To assist them in developing this expertise, they assign them each narrow geographic and then send each agent to visit and research the properties they will be representing. This allows them to become experts as well as develop a relationship with each individual property.
