Here history and nature meet in this neighborhood characterized by rivers, parks, tree-shaded home sites and an eclectic collection of spectacular architectural styles. Many antebellum homes are located right on the river and the area includes hundreds of Southern Style mansions and turn-of-the-century homes. Augustine has several miles of hard-packed sand beaches which are bordered with beautiful natural dunes. Driving is permitted on the hard sand in some areas. With a large variety of parks, nature trails, beach frontage, and riverfront boardwalks; you are sure to see all of the beauty Jacksonville and it’s beaches have to offer. The most wonderful advantage to making Jacksonville your vacation spot is the size of the city.

This north-south route will be constructed in conjunction with the parkway, but will be completed about five months earlier. The city’s beautifully designed Sea Walk includes a number of great vantage points for spotting porpoises year round, or northern right whales during the winter. Recent additions to the city’s waterfront include a new pier, expanded beach access, parking, and a number of restaurants and clubs. There are also various nearby attractions such as the restaurants, theatres, museums, historic sites and antique shops. There are various family attractions and outlet malls. These Jacksonville Beach condos are convenient to restaurants, coffee shops and beach shopping, all just a walk or bike ride away.

Residents will also enjoy an easy commute to downtown Jacksonville and all of the city’s employment, business and cultural centers. Residents enjoy local golf courses, abundant dining and entertainment, and easy access to the beaches via J.
