Costa Rica Beaches

by Dave Jackson

Costa Rica has many wonderful beach resorts perfect for vacation and holiday on the ocean. Choices of oceanfront condos with water garden, pool view, or garden views allow everyone to find a space that is uniquely perfect for them. Tesoro was designed for the individual who would like to live a recreational resort lifestyle among luxury accommodations and amenities. Each Estate has panoramic ocean and sweeping valley views. Enjoy year round 75F avg temperatures, relaxing breezes, breathtaking sunsets, and cool night time temperatures.

Many units enjoy oceanfront views — others enjoy views of the huge swimming pools and tropical landscaping. Commercial space on main street will house a Las Vegas sytle casino, luxury spa and wellness center and four star restaurant. Just lay by the beachfront pool or swim in the ocean all day. One way or another you will have a trip of a lifetime. The national parks, ocean, beaches, pasture land, surf and less trodden paths of Costa Rica provide more than enough ample fun-filled excursions. A day’s itinerary can include surfing, swimming, fishing, sailing, parasailing, hiking, kayaking, horseback riding, scuba diving, or just lounging on a deserted Costa Rican beach with your favorite book and the surf lapping at your feet.

Jaco’s close proximity to the airport and the central valley (where the capital city is located and most of the population live) has made it a popular beach destination for Costa Rican and international tourists. Jaco’s central location makes it an ideal home base for travelers that want to live and explore up and down the Pacific coast.

The beach areas (coming from the south) Playa Carrillo, Playa Nosara, Playa Samara and Playa Grande, have all benefited from the airport opening, but also the building of the bridge across the Tempisque River. Although these are probably the most remote beach areas to reach, they are still growing, adding hotels, Cabinas, (cabins) and restaurants to their already formidable selection.

This is undoubtedly the new hot spot for Costa Rica beach opportunities. Everything up North and down South is getting very expensive and sold out. Further south down the coast, the developing city of Dominical is also a hot area for Costa Rica beach real estate, offering some homes that are perched in the surrounding hills. Ocean views from on high here are amazing. Costa Rica beaches, or playas as they are called in Spanish, range from the dazzling white sands of Flamingo to black sands of Nicoya. On the north Pacific coast, Guanacaste province boasts the greatest number of Costa Rican beachfront hotels.
