Located adjacent to the beautiful beach of Jimbaran Bay, the Royal Bali Beach Club offers an exclusive and private holiday experience that you will never forget. The resort is truly first class with sixteen luxury one bedroom apartments each fully air conditioned and with private balconies or courtyards. This site is dedicated to providing information about Bali beaches and finding the right accommodation on the right beach for you! Please view the beaches below and click on the maps and hotels to find the beach accommodation that suits your needs. We have stayed at the Grand Bali beach six times. The hotel has three types of accommodation, high rise suites, garden wing suites and bungalows.
Offering cosy accommodation and convenient facilities, the Sanur Beach Hotel Bali is a perfect place for both business and leisure travellers. Sanur Beach Hotel is located right on the Sanur beach front and is surrounded by landscaped gardens and shaded by whispering coconut palms. The Indian food here is delicious and irresistable, and it cannot be compared with any other restaurant in Sanur claiming to serve food from the sub-continent. The setting here is more pleasant than their other two branches, and prices are reasonable. The only almost-white beaches I knew so far were Nusa Dua and Sanur, both either very shallow or with almost no waves and lots of dirt and old plastic bags in the water. Kuta/Legian is nice to swim at, but the sand is gray and you really have to watch out for rip-currents or waves that can drag you out to sea.
Sanur is also a popular beach near accommodation that’s not as busy as other parts of Bali, yet still only 20 minutes from the hustle and bustle of Kuta. And that’s exactly the way many visitors like it - a little quieter with not so many hawkers and not as pushy as they are at Kuta. At Nusa Dua and Sanur it is a pale golden color without any ash, and many sand particles are quite large. Sanur was Bali’s first beach resort but still retains its Balinese character and old style village ambiance. It’s also the place for some of Bali’s chic fashion shops, hot hotels and well-known restaurants.
Sanur Beach in Bali, Indonesia, is one long beach - with white/off white sand. As you see in the video, the water is calm and protected. Once home to a great reef, it is mainly gone due to erosion and Indonesia “progress”; silt and pesticide runoff from construction. So for Sanur, lot’s of nice sand, but below the surface there are many problems. We were first interested in the beaches of Bali when a user e-mailed asking why we didn’t include this beach. Unfortunately, this is one of the better beaches here. For some reason, probably corruption, these beaches do not get the treatment they deserve. There is little enforcement of the few laws Indonesia has for preservation. Feel free to comment.
Named the United Nations of beaches, Legian Beach in Bali, Indonesia, is indeed filled with a multitude of “westerners” as well as the native Bali men and women. The difference? The Europeans and Americans are almost completely nude, whereas the men and women of the island are fully clothed from the workday. But here we see a glimpse of what Legian Beach, Bali, looks like on a typical day. It’s very different at night. Here you’ll see surfers lining up for the perfect wave, and people just hanging out. We enjoyed the thought of grabbing a beach chair and lying here listening to the surf. Isn’t that what beach life is all about? This beach has some serious wave action during the day.

Sit back and simply think of one thing; the most beautiful painting of a sunset dinner-on-the-beach complete with boats slowly gliding along and musicians playing from their souls. Now jump into the painting, you have just arrived at Jimbaran Beach, Bali, Indonesia. And, if you close your eyes for a moment, you’ll be swept to a magical place few have experienced. We believe the people of Bali are special. And they take great pride in their country and customs. Remember to respect this as you make your way around the beaches in Bali and eateries. They think one way, maybe you have your own thoughts.
As we had been greeted at the dozens of warungs that we had passed, a team of local Indonesian guys wearing smart “Jimbaran Beach Cafe” polos ushered us to a plastic table about 20 feet from the water. Other guests included a large family of locals and tourists from all over. Jogging is widely practiced sport in Jimbaran beach and is especially tempting in the covered glow of sunset. Jimbaran is also an admired spot for windsurfing and sailing small craft, which are obtainable for rent. The organic salads are perfect for warm, sultry Balinese lunches, or try a fresh catch from nearby Jimbaran beach. Asam Garam is the perfect setting to share the local fare, notably the Balinese Roasted Duck with Water Spinach, an Indonesian Rijstafel (Seafood variety thoughtfully offered as well as a Balinese kind) - a combination meal of various dishes, or the ubiquitous Nasi Goreng.
