Little Banana Beach, Skiathos, Greece

It is a green island with forests; abundant water and at least 60 large and small fine beaches, which stretch all along the south-facing coast. Skiathos town the capital and the main port of the island, offers a busy cosmopolitan life, numerous local taverns, ouzeris and cafes located at the harbor. The character of the beach has developed over the years. It used to be difficult to get to and therefore only a handful of dedicated people would make the effort. Beaches, history, walking, cycling, water sports, festivals, food ecology: chances are if you want it, they’ve got it. Here are just a few of the incomparable offerings Greece’s islands hold.

West Railay Beaches Thailand

East Railay which lies across the peninsula from West Railay is different from other beaches in the area as it could actually be classified as a mud flat, especially during low tide. In addition to remarkable views and mangrove forests to the north of the beach, the main attraction for visitors to Hat Railay is the adrenaline pumping activity of cliff climbing. Across the peninsula from West Railay is East Railay, which varies from the other beaches in the area in that it could actually be classified as a mud flat, especially during low tide. Even so, it does offer some rather remarkable views. East Railay is the swamp side with low budget accomodation and west railay is the beautiful beach side. Service at the hotel was good.
