Hamoa Beach, Maui, Hawaii

by Dave Jackson

You’ll find Hamoa Beach about a ten minutes drive from little Hana. The beautiful drive is easy to make, with lots of great scenery along the way. There isn’t a parking lot, so you’ll need to park on the side of the road and walk down the steps to the beach. Parking won’t a problem because the beach is never crowded.

This beach is not protected by any fringing reefs, so big surf is extremely dangerous. Strong currents are also present outside of the bay. The safest time to swim is during the summer and early fall. Closely monitor ocean conditions at all times and don’t be crazy - obey all those postings and warnings.

One of the most beautiful beach areas is Magen’s Bay, which is often photographed and touted as one of the world’s prettiest. To get there, take a cab (approximately $4 per person), then pay a $1 admission fee. Panama City Beach is one of the world’s most beautiful beaches, with over twenty-seven miles of breathtaking, unrivaled beauty along the Gulf of Mexico. Within a radius of 500 miles there are 65 million people who could easily choose Panama City Beach as there drive to vacation destination. It is a tourist place but for Brasilians and is not covored with tacky shops and things like that it is such a beautiful place!

The Flight to Bora Bora

by Dave Jackson

Flight to Bora Bora

Your trip to Bora Bora will take you first to the Tahitian island of Papeete. Then it’s a short flight over to the airport on Motu Mute, Bora Bora. That’s the name of the small island American soldiers built a landing strip back during World War II. This island is one of the small barrier islands surrounding the main island of Bora Bora.

But here’s a tip. Don’t rest on this flight because the scenery is breathtaking. You will be able to see all colors and dramatic landscape as you approach the island. Many people have said that the beauty of Bora Bora is really unbelievable until they experience it for a few days. It sinks in that there is somewhere on earth this beautiful.
