Young people from all over the world throng discotheques staffed by brand name DJ’s, arriving between midnight and 2am and partying until well after the sun rises over the Mediterranean. With its stunning scenery, secluded beaches, fine hotels and upscale restaurants, Ibiza is a haven for those seeking to explore a Mediterranean paradise of pine trees and olive groves, of quaint old fashioned farmhouses and winding cobbled streets. Do not listen to media critics who say “Ibiza is finished” or “Its not like it was in the early Nineteys”. I was here in the early Nineteys and I can testify that Ibiza has just got better!
In front of you stretches a spotless palm-fringed beach thronged with bikini-clad babes and their equally gorgeous escorts. The vibe says Ibiza, but the nonstop procession of supertankers and freighters crisscrossing the near horizon will remind you quickly enough that you’re on Ibiza. Skimpy bikinis, hot chicks and lots of crazy parties… Yeah, baby, yeah! But where does one start?
