Whitehaven Beach is one of the most beautiful beaches in the world – Hands down. In a world is filled with millions of miles of coastline and beaches but without question, this is easily one of the most beautiful. Renowned as one of the top ten beaches in the world, Whitehaven Beach is located on Whitsunday Island, the largest island in the region and is fully protected and uninhabited due to its National and Marine Park status. Its shallows are graced by various species of turtles, and these ancient creatures are often sighted during daily visits. At the right tide time, the view over Whitehaven Beach is magical.

Best Beaches of Australia

What a land of contrasts! Australia has some of the best of nature, awesome scuba and snorkel along the Great Barrier Reef and elsewhere, and the most fantastic beaches we’ve seen. In fact, many people put Australia on their list of must see destinations! The fact is there are so many beaches on this continent of varied terrain that there is something for everyone.
