Where to Eat in Cozumel
We reviewed what to do, and where to stay; it only makes sense to recommend our favorite eateries.
Everyone talks about Casa Denis‘s outdoor patio, and for good reason. The food is reasonably priced and you can get a good idea of the Cozumel’s seafood.

It is fresh, and wonderfully prepared. You won’t be disappointed here. Ask any local and they will tell you where to find Casa Denis.
One unforgettable place is located on the east coast. I’m telling ya… we’ve received a lot of good reports on this one, and when that happens, it can only mean it’s got to be good.
Yes, it’s a drive (East coast - few hotels, services - awesome coastline), but when you can, get over to Coconuts.
The view is spectacular because it sits high on a ridge overlooking the rough shoreline and heavy surf of the open ocean. You’ll hear tunes from the 60′s and 70′s.
I know, you can taste it already… and in the open air breezes, you’ll just close your eyes and wish you never had to go back to the old 9 to 5.
Why not stay? Open a astronomy center and look at stars all night. It’s an idea.
Finally, we couldn’t leave out La Choza - in the heart of town. My goodness, the guacamole is to die for. Yikes! La Choza also is near the tourist shops.
Make sure you dine when the cruise ships are out (ask around), because downtown fills up quickly with a couple of liners docked, and you want your peace and quiet, no?
Isn’t that why you came to Cozumel in the first place?
Now let’s take a look at the three beaches that caught our eye, NEXT >>
