With Four Seasons hotels recently opening in India and China, the chain will soon be known in every major country. The Maldives Four Seasons Hotel features thatched-roof bungalows set on stilts above the beautiful blue lagoon, and a spa that takes up the entire space on one of the 1192 islands of the Maldives. Some of the rooms have part open-air bathrooms while the Water Villas have wooden sun decks. The inside of the room is plain, the bathroom is partly open to the sky. All would be very well, except that when we visited the tap and shower water was a mix of desalinated and salt water.
