Warwick Long Bay is not as busy as the other beaches in the area as it is exposed to southerly winds but it is popular with dog walkers and joggers, and there is a horse trail close by. In this area you can also find some delightful secluded spots such as Jobson Cove and Chaplin Bay. Warwick Long Bay is a nice long beautiful beach, but be careful swimming there. It can be reefy.

Clearwater Beach has an excellent marina where one can find numerous charter, party and rental boats for fishing, sailing, cruising, para-sailing, and dolphin watching. Half-day and full-day fishing trips are available.
You will enjoy having cabana rentals, beach wheel-chairs, and bath houses with restrooms. A lifeguard is on duty in season. Condo rentals are daily, weekly or monthly. One condo unit boasts a GREAT location on Clearwater beach! Rent two weeks or more (there is a two-week minimum rental).

While we don’t agree that Fort De Soto Park is the number one beach in the United States, we do believe that it deserves the number two spot for the State of Florida. There are seven miles of white beaches among sea oats and grasses that consistently rate in the top ten in the nation. Fine grained sand that is nice between the toes. Let’s visit.
900 acres of unspoiled land is protected by the now Fort De Soto Park. There are biking and skating trails and full rentals of canoes, kayaks and bikes. The trails are well marked. The Canoe Trail spans 2.25 miles.
