Trou aux Biches Beach Mauritius

by Dave Jackson

Trou aux Biches is by far the most sought after beach resort in Mauritius. It owes its popularity with discerning regular visitors mainly owing to its safe bathing for children, perfect conditions for snorkelling (either in its lagoon or along its reefs), and its fine silver sand. The resort resembles a typical Mauritian village with traditional charm and a gentle way of life.

With its open spaces, tropical architecture, romantic thatched bungalows and palm-shaded tropical gardens, Trou aux Biches has become a landmark of Mauritian tourism. Having spent several weeks reviewing hotels/resorts around Mauritius, we chose Le Sakoa. We certainly weren’t disappointed.

As a romantic at heart, you will find you are lured back here time and time again. Experience Trou aux Biches for your wedding and honeymoon and return with your family and friends.

Easy walking distance to shops, cafes, restaurants, water sports, golf etc as well as 4 star hotel with all its casino and dining facilities. Water sports offers and a restaurant are available. Hey, we even have heard of wild living deer on Mauritius!

The beach slopes gently to a calm sea and the emphasis is most definitely on relaxation.

The most beautiful public beach is within 5 minutes walk and close by are all amenities such as bank, supermarkets, hotels, all sporting facilities. The shopping complex and beach of Grand Bay is only 10 minutes away by bus. Airport transfers can be arranged.

Find the perfect holiday villa to rent in Trou aux Biches with some of the suggestions you see on the website. Mont Choisy villas and bungalows are close enough to the tourists hub of Grand Bay to be accessible on foot, by car or public transport but far enough to enjoy peace of mind and privacy sought by most visitors.
