Boogie Boarding Beaches

by Dave Jackson

While in Hawaii, we enjoyed sitting on the Lanai and watching the ocean. The house was equipped with everything you need: coolers, boogie boards, beach chairs, etc. Unlike the beaches that are located on continents, with continental shelves, the Hawaiian Islands sit in the middle of the Pacific Ocean and are therefore exposed to stronger waves. Rip currents can form without notice, disappear, and then reappear. Boogie boarding is such a favorite sport and pastime in Hawaii - it’s incredible. Let’s take a look at some places around the globe known for boogie boarding. Give us your favorites!
