Charming Town

A combination of the weather with the beach is the main reason why so many Brits flock to Bournemouth during the summer months. Even with the weather being distorted throughout Western and Northen Europe, you will most definitely find days to apply that sunblock and worship the sun. Get to know a little bit about the sea from Bournemouth airport, to the Bournemouth shed and beach huts. You’ll easily get a room that is beautifully decorated and your child can have their own space (and TV!). The owners at the hotels in this part of the world made you very welcome. It’s like being at home.

Nha Trang Vietnam

by Dave Jackson

Nha Trang is a good place for diving to soft coral sites brimming with reef fish, and a number of very professional dive outfitters can take you there (quite inexpensive by Western standards). Also note the newly developed Whale Island, just a few hours north, as well as new developments near the airport. A former quiet fishing village, the small Vietnamese coastal town of Nha Trang is now a thriving beachside resort. Bordering the South China Sea, Nha Trang Beach is 6 kilometers of pristine fine white sand and sparkling blue water. Already a popular destination among Vietnamese tourists, this charming town is quickly becoming a favorite among International travelers and backpackers as well. The main strip in Nha Trang is Tran Phu Street, which runs north-south along the sea for about 4 kilometers. It is a wide boulevard, bisected by a grassy median with street lamps.

Amagansett is a charming town just 4 miles east of East Hampton, filled with art galleries, antique stores, restaurants and shops. Just up the street from the house is Amagansett Square, a very pretty park surrounded by shops, a day spa and an acclaimed restaurant.

In the wee hours of June 13, l942, four German saboteurs in a rubber boat launched by a Nazi submarine landed at Amagansett, bent on committing mayhem in this country. They encountered a Coast Guardsman, who reported them, touching off a 15-day manhunt. Coming from the Midwest, Bando is reveling in the freshness of Amagansett’s striped bass, fluke, sea scallops. There are many places travel agents and travel writers call prime destinations. Many more are striving to gain such status.

Porto Pollo is a small spot on a bay on the north coast of Sardinia, a short drive from our main accommodation offers some of the best windsurfing that the island has to offer. A huge bay offfers plenty of space for beginners and experienced alike.

A lot of other spots are to be discover by your own . This long stretch of sand runs along of the charming town of Ile Rousse, making it a great spot to spend the day. Several restaurants some of which also rent sun lounges and umbrellas back the main beach. A more secluded spot is plage du Monachi , 1km south of the village; this small, sandy cove is reached by climbing down the track at the side of the road past the little chapel on the cliffside.
