Why drive to the beach when you can just walk out the front door onto the gorgeous, white sand? Here are some of our favorite resorts located on the beach in the Caribbean. Along the main stretch of beach, the sand is public to the high-water mark, so a nonstop line of visitors and vendors parade from end to end. The walk is sprinkled with many good beach bars and open-air restaurants. It stretches along the west of Negril and comes complete with golden sands and a view of the sea that is truly remarkable. This Jamaican beach is perfect for all kinds of jet setters, but family vacationers beware: several sections of the beach are allocated to the uninhibited who like to bare all.
Varadero beach, 16 km long, white sand, just beautiful. Mayan Riviera is a little bit rocky. Vincent and the Grenadines, Mustique is a private island, owned and operated with great efficiency by the Mustique Company. Just five minutes from the world-renowned Firefly Mustique hotel, Macaroni beach is island paradise with and absolutely no distractions. Martin represents the larger half the island which it shares with the Dutch. The French side offers a taste of French culture and sensibility in a Caribbean setting. John in the Virgin Islands, the Caribbean Sea is warm and inviting, even in the winter. And because there are no rivers, large tides or strong currents, the water is clear and clean.
Like the other North-Eleuthera beaches, it can be accessed by boat from Harbour Island. Or rent a car at Eleuthera’s Harbour Island dock and drive to the beaches . We did not follow the coast and went through the island.
Every time I go there, I always see people fishing right from the shores. Or you can see it like a sea turtle, crawling from one beach bar to the next, maybe stopping to hook up with a water-sports operator for an offshore snorkeling excursion. The shore facing the Bahia Mujeres on the windward side of the island is considered best for swimming because of calmer waters.
